SECRETARY
Romi Toyloy is the Founder & CEO of the JAMECCA Cultural Center Limited (JCC), a startup tertiary university dedicated to providing holistic, state-of-the art education in the creative and applied arts, as well as Jamaican traditions .
Soon after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature & minor in Hospitality Administration from Georgia State University in 1996, Romi worked in the Director’s Office of the Jamaica Tourist Board as an Admin Assistant and Public Relations Officer . This experience proved to be a significant influence on the creation of JCC. Romi’s professional journey thereafter was multifaceted and bilateral (USA & Jamaica). From tourism to telecom, Admin `to GM, Romi has forged a well-rounded perspective and skillsets. She is a positive asset, particularly in the areas of event planning, customer service, strategic planning, marketing & creative design.
Romi’s goal is to establish JCC’s flagship facility in Kingston within the next 2 years, followed by satellite locations (locally and internationally) in the next 10 years.
