In 2017, she was awarded the Beesen Global Research Fellowship. In 2019, she was selected for the second cohort of the JAFTA/British Council Feature Film Lab. Her first feature screenplay is part of the official selection for the 2021 Bahamas International Film Festival Screenwriter’s Residency. She graduated from Columbia University with a B.A in History in 2018 and is currently pursuing her M.A in History at McGill University.
